National Night Out 2018

Tuesday August 7, 2018.

National Night Out is an annual nationwide event to encourage residents to get out in the community, meet neighbors, and partner with police.  Any event, large or small, provides a way for people to meet one another and talk about what’s happening in their neighborhood.  It is always the first Tuesday of August.

To find out if there’s an event near you, see the List of Public Events at https://www.stpaul.gov/departments/police/national-night-out-0.    You can also call your local district council.  We have a list of Payne-Phalen District 5 events.   Please call by 4 PM Tuesday Aug. 7th.

If there’s no event where you live, try one of the public events in our district:

East Side Freedom Library, 1105 Greenbrier St, 5-8 PM.
Hear from musicians that have performed before, with folk music, jazz, improvised percussion, and labor songs.  Refreshments provided.  Arts and crafts activities and a farmers market will also happen.  Free and open to everyone.  For questions or more info email info@eastsidefreedomlibrary.org or call 651-230-3294.
