MnPASS offers Commute Credits
December 1, 2016
MnPASS is helping motorists save time and money by giving $15 in commute credits to all new MnPASS accounts opened between Nov. 1, 2016 and Jan. 31, 2017.
MnPASS is Minnesota’s system of priced managed lanes that are often referred to as High Occupancy Toll lanes. Priced managed lanes provide a congestion-free travel option during peak-travel times by pricing specific lanes at rates that maintain free flow conditions for all commuters.
A MnPASS account offers solo motorists the choice to pay to use the MnPASS Express Lanes on I-394, I-35W and I-35E during peak-travel times. Fees to use the MnPASS lanes range from 25 cents to $8 and are collected electronically. High occupancy vehicles with two or more occupants (HOV 2+), motorcycles and buses can use the MnPASS lanes free. All motorists can use the MnPASS lanes for free before and after the posted peak-travel times.
