The essence of our work is community partnership. Here is a partial list of several initiatives from 2016 and into 2017. We are always seeking fresh ways to support positive work to benefit East Side people and neighborhoods! If you have an idea to share – just give us a call or e-mail us!
Union Job and Resource Fair This annual event is a collaborative project with a host of generous St. Paul labor organizations, the East Side Freedom Library, the City of St. Paul, and East Side District Councils. The event is held at the IBEW Union Hall, 1330 Conway St. It will be on Thursday May 16, 2024 from 1:00 to 6:00 PM.
Back to School Event District Five supports the annual Back to School Event- organized by Family Values for Life and a host of community partners. The event is held on the last Wednesday of August each year. Volunteers are always needed to help with many aspects of this positive event which serves many area families. School supplies, clothing and food are provided for school-age children along with activities and music.
